About Nick Joss
InsightClear Advisory is led by Nick Joss, an experienced investigator with a background spanning law enforcement, workplace investigations, integrity matters, regulatory enquiries and factual investigations across government, insurance and corporate environments.
Nick is a former Australian Federal Police investigator with extensive experience conducting complex and sensitive investigations involving fraud, financial crime, misconduct, integrity concerns and regulatory matters. His investigative background includes major financial crime investigations involving money laundering, insider trading, fraud and tax evasion, Counter Terrorism, Serious and Organised Crime and Surveillance.
Throughout his career, Nick has conducted and managed investigations involving workplace misconduct, corrupt conduct, behavioural concerns, Public Interest Disclosure (PID) matters, fraud allegations and high-risk integrity issues across highly regulated and high-accountability environments.
His experience includes:

His investigative experience is supported by formal qualifications in criminology, investigations and financial crime, including:
- Graduate Certificate in Fraud, Financial Crime & Anti-Money Laundering
- Bachelor of Criminology (Criminal Justice)
- Certificate III & IV in Investigations
- Diploma of Public Safety (Policing)
Nick holds current Queensland and New South Wales Investigator Licences and approaches all matters with professionalism, discretion and a strong focus on evidence-based and defensible outcomes.
